Yo people, i am not to familiar with H and F series motors all i know is that they are very similar. i have a 2000 honda accord with a bad auto tranny this gen. is know for having bad tranny. My question is would i be able to fit a 97+ prelude tranny onto the accord. would it be a direct bolt on? or would i have to make any modifications? has any one done this? please let me know. THANX

are you staying auto? if so just stick with a f trans.

If you are going manual, all H and F trans are interchangable, besides the Prelud SH trans that has ATTS.

You know by "ALL h and f are swappable" you would think ALL of them are.

 

the way gas prices are i wouldn't consider of doin it trust me i know just by having shorter gears on my car.
