new cluster,now engine wont redline at 8k
i have a 95 eg with a b16a3,recently i swapped my old cluster because the rpm gauge would stay at 6k even when i would redline the motor.the new one is an si cluster with the redline of 72k,but now the engine seems to only rev to 7k even though the engine is supposed to go to 82k,does anyone have this problem?.

i dont think thats the problem,the ecu im using is the original p30,the engine seems to rev only to 7.2k where the redline on the eg si cluster is.

thats the thing,i have change my cluster twice,in the first one the tach would not go past 6k but the engine did,the one i have now once it hits 7k it bounces back.
my friends also has the same kind of cluster.
*edit*the first cluster was a vx cluster
the second one is from an si.
