Default Last time I saw My R....(Not for the faint of heart)

As most of you know, my R was broken into in front of my house back on Feb 22 of this year... They cut the front bumper, stole most of the interior, the chin spoiler and the foglights.
Afterwards I had it towed to the local acura dealership. While it was there, It was broken into a additional 3 (maybe more) times. The dealership "couldn't" store it inside, and the insurance company removed the door locks and hatch lock from it(for "investigation") leaving it totally unsecured.

Here is what remained before the insurance company towed it away to their "secure" lot somewhere..

And believe it or not...The insurance company STILL hasn't settled!

You should blur out your license plate in the second pic!!!!

Hope you get a settlement soon...this has been dragging out for way too long.

I am surprised the wheels are still there.

Those pictures are absolutely sickening. This is like "60 Minutes" material...insurance company twiddles their thumbs while the car they're paid to protect gets vandalized more and more by the day.

Maybe Arthur Andersen is their accountant?

I was just about to edit my post with the same comment. You would think the person that took the taillights would want the gunmetals...but I guess since other Integras don't come with a 5 lug, it wouldn't do them much good...

Agreed!

Why NOT get a news channel involved? This is a SERIOUS mess! I'm sure there is a local channel that has one of those "on your side" shows. And Hell Yes. I'd even call Dateline and 60 minutes. This would make a very big show that could encompass the major problems that "We" have with our cars getting stolen and the B.S. that some of us have dealt with for settlement.

This ABSOLUTELY needs to be brought to a Reporting agency if for nothing but,t he blunders of the insirance company and the dealership alone.

Good luck,

Hopefully We'll see an excerpt about this on one of the local/national news shows soon!

A.

PS I still feel for you and anyone unlucky enough to have to deal with such loss and stupidity.

Man, I remember from the first theft, your car was basically salvage-able. Only took the front chin spoiler, interior and fog lights.

Now it doesn't even have the head on the motor anymore.

SUE SUE SUE!!!

I imagine allied insurance has increased their rates on integras after what happened to the Punk.

That's what got me...The single most commonly stolen part...and it's STILL there!
Why take just the icing when the cake is free I suppose.

Punk, Im really sorry about your car. My insurance claim took 1 month before they cut a settlement check.

Not to be a dick or anything, but WTF are you doing just sitting here and not taking action on this, or are you? I mean, these guys are totally tooling you around and you are taking it. Do something about!

F**K insurance companies!!

Punk =
Lagging insurance companies who think they can get away with it =

I hired a attourney back in MARCH, and unfortunatly...the insurance company can legally drag their feet for up to 6 months!!
