Just changed my oil in my car but am not sure how much oil I am to add. Ohhh.... I'm in Canada so could you tell me in Litres. THANX

ur askin about your B18B right? I think its 4 quarts (US)

qt x 0.946= liters

so 3.784 liters

 

i alwasy end up putting 4.2 liters of oil into the engine after i let it drain for a good long time.......

4.5+ now that i have a GS-R oil pan........

 

ThanX everyone!!!! I just switched my oil's from Castrol synthetic to the Mobil 1 stuff.... thought I'd try somthing new. I bought the 4L jug, so I hope 4L will be enough otherwise I'll have to get the 0.2L more

Ohhh... and "YES" it is the B18B..... should have stated that in my initial question..

non-VTEC: what's the advantage of the GSR oil pan on a non-vtec engine???? Accept for the extra oil.

 

That should be enough, if the calculation above is correct. But only add what you are supposed to, then check the dip stick, and add more if needed.

 

more oil means cooler oil because the oil doenst circulate as fast and as often that is why the moroso is a 5q capacity.
