18volt Alternator output? Help?
Hi Guys, I have a 1989 CRX with an obd0 B16, with a Obd1 conversion. I've driven it for 2 years swapped, and recently it had a starting problem. I jump-started it and tested the current at the battery while running, and it slowly climbed from 17.8 to 18.04 volts. Is this a need for a new alternator, or possible fuse problem, etc?
Thanks in advance.

change it out asap, when mine went bad one night i just happend to have my high beams on and they both blew out...
you could get it rebuilt also that might be a little cheaper, it was only about 100 to have mine redone and that included, stator, brushes, rectifier, regulator and bearings. good deal i thought
driving home with just yellow fogs sucks
