Default 4th gen short ram intakes.

If I put the battery in the trunk do you think a 5th gen short ram would fit? Or is the car just not wide enough?

A 5th gen short ram should fit with your battery still there. I dont think they are any longer. Only problem might right shock tower clearance.

the filter box sits behind the battery in the 4th gens and it sits beside the battery in 5th gens. so if i get the 5th gen intake and remove the battery it should fit right?

Like I said, the only clearance problem might be with the right shock tower. But if your removing the battery all together, why not get a CAI?

So? A cold air would be like $200 Canadian. No big deal.

Gennady, who bought his short ram for $30 US.

AEM's are 350 up here. the OBX's are 250. I'm going cheap cause the motor is getting swapped out and then turboed over the winter/spring.

Every single part that you need for a custom CAI minus the bpv will run you $50 US. Including piping, filter, clamps, rubber grommets, hacksaw, ceramic paint, and newpapers to paint it on.
