Side Parking Light Problem on 1994 Accord
I noticed a burnt out yellow-parking light on my right, front side. I needed to replace it so I read the owners manual and they said pull foward untill it pops out, well I found that to be hard to do since there was nothing to grab and it was not budging, so I used a flat head screwdriver and slowly went around the sides and tried to pop out some of the pegs that were holding so god awful tight, I suceeded and in doing so I ruined the 2 pegs holding it. I stopped there because I still wanted the whole light fixture to still be intact by the base somewhat, I put the screw back in and it is still just as solid but I need some help, how can I get this light out without destroying anything else?
after removing the screw on top the light the light pulls straight forward but theres a metal pin that pops in a round retainer just behind the front of the light towards the bottom you may want to try some wd40 or other spray lube to ease the removal. good luck i broke mine before i froud out about that pin had to get one from junk yard.
