Well just because "right now" you don't plan on going turbo, doesn't mean that "right now" you can't build it for "in the future"... You can have a fully built motor, and not be turbo, and still have satisfaction knowing that most likely the hardest you try to beat the **** out of it, it's gonna take the beating with a smile lol... You could get a complete bottom end kit "rods with ARP connecting bolts, pistons, rings, bearings, seals, head studs, head gasket, ect" for under a $1k for ur Y8"... Than in the future all you would need to do is invest in a decent little turbo setup and you're golden...

http://fjdistributors.com/privacy.php Those guys are very reputable over on D-Series.org and were from what I understand, the first ones to have the custom D15B rods in stock for sale, because everyone was having issues using the D16Z6 rods in the D15 blocks "height purposes and such when matched with vitara pistons".. But yeah man you can do a Vitara Piston/Eagle Rod setup for well under $1k "plus the other components i listed above" and pretty much have a motor ready to handle whatever kinda forced induction you wanna throw at it... Nitrous, Turbo, Supercharger... I've tried all of'm and had best results with Turbo, mainly because if its not fast enough just crank that boost gauge up some more, re-tune, and your good haha... Nitrous I didnt like because it runs out to fast, Superchargers always seemed laggy on any civic/integra i've rode in, but Turbo's are just beasts... Plus Turbo's are made in a HUGEE variety of different sizes so say you have one to small, not making enough top end HP, just upgrade to a bigger turbo and you should be satisfied... Tuning is also a KEY FACTOR when you get into engine building... Just because the motor is built and capable, without tuning it you're not really doing much but just adding reinforcement.. You'll get better results after you're built no doubt, but unless you add in air/fuel components and tune it you won't be like blown away... Until you're boostin 20psi anyways haha... GL man
