im gettin ready to get my 3" exhaust system from kteller.com...but i have to buy the piping and muffler separate..now, they are suggesting me to buy the SS piping kit ($230) and a magnaflow muffler ($90)...i just dont know if i should get the round or oval one?...here is the link to the mufflers... http://www.magnaflow.com/02product/02race.asp

i went with the oval.....looks more like stock.

Also i believe the wider sides provide more sound dampening.

both are straight through mufflers so it's really on how you want it all to look

get what ever one you want and like.
Also if you are going to tilt the muffler like some people do i would go for the round

also recommend getting a resonator. i hope you are going turbo because otherwise 3" may be a little too big (depending on who you ask)

 

yeah, its defintely for turbo...and yes, i was looking at the oval one as well..now too crazy about the tilt look..on like some suburu's ive seen...and a resonator? ill chek that out as well..thanks for the info!
