Intermittent starting issues – 1990 LX
The car drives absolutely fine… when I can start it. Its currently parked on the street with no shade and It just wont crank (like its not getting fuel) on somedays. It starts right up on mornings and late evenings. It has not died on me while driving or anything and no CEL. Just doesn’t crank sometimes and I’ll wait for hours.
Doesn’t seem like anything mechanical that’s wrong and if things related to the igniter, coil or switch were dead, I’m sure it wouldn’t crank at all? I think it’s the main relay but don’t want to jump right in and do it yet unless i'm sure. Anyone have the same problem?
- Ignition Coil
- Igniter
- Ignition Switch
- Main Relay
Thanks
