FS/WTT in PA: 1989 Toyota Supra Turbo Targa 5spd 90k miles $5500obo
Just taking a shot in the dark with this one.
1989 Toyota Supra Turbo Targa (sport roof) - NEW PRICE $4500
Bought the car about 2 weeks ago with intentions to make a fast project but lost my job shortly after so I need something that I will not spend money on. Car is 20 years old and does need some TLC to make 100% again. Car was repainted by previous owner but still had minor flaws. Only rust on car is surface rust on drivers side wheel well due to chip in paint. Interior is clean but no radio is installed. Clean title and as stated 90k original miles. Just had car inspected so its good till May/09.
Recently replaced:
-Oil (mobil 1)
-Brake Pads
-Spark plugs
-A/C retrofit to 134a but clutch not engaging...
-valve cover gasket
Upgrades:
-3" catback to magnaflow muffler
-hard pipes for intercooler
-HKS bov
-Autometer Sport Comp II Boost Gauge
-17" Excel wheels
-almost brand new tires
The bad:
-Car does smoke a little on deceleration but no other time.
-door handle is cracked on drivers side but still functions properly
-Targa does drip a little when raining due to 20 year old seals.
If there is interest I will take better pictures and repost them or ask me for specific ones and they will be e-mailed to you.
