Can't retrieve CEL, car runs like garbage

Can't retrieve CEL, car runs like garbage
I've searched for this, no luck.
I have a built and boosted D in my civic, tuned with S300. In the city it drives awesome, smooth idle but when I hit the Hiway and maintain a constant rpm I get a CEL after about 15minutes. The car then drives like **** and can barely maintain and idle (fluctuates)
I can't pull the code I tried 5 times, nothing.
Anyone had this? When the ECU goes into cel mode does it run the original safe mode or is my tune still there? I'd hate to run lean because of a ghost Cel.
