Default 99 honda accord no power/no start???

So I went to start my car this morning and nothing happened! No lights, no clock or radio power. Checked the battery connection, looks good, tried jumping the battery, and still no cranking noise. The interior lights don't even come on when connected to jumper cables. Just checked all the fuses and they look good.

Can anyone make a recommendation or suggestion to try next???

Thanks!

Checked fuses, all in tact. How do you check the relay? Does the starter prevent the clock to have power?

Thanks,
Doug

Ooo yeah, good point that skipped my mind.

I would look at the ignition swith. The switch is what controls the power to the radio and what not.

it has to be a battery ,fuse ,connection issue as like you just said the clock and dome light doesn't come on those should be on even if the ignition is off ...double check the lights were not left on or anything like that then check the battery voltage and the connections for corrosion then it's off to the fusable links like the big 100 amp one.

Not sure of the problem, but I was able to jump the car. Apparently you have to connect the negative cable to the car vs. the battery to jump the car. Everything is up and running. Thanks foir everyone's suggestion. I'm gald it was cheap and easy and not something long and costly.

Thanks
