I took some pictures of his Rabbit while he was at our house today. I like this car a lot and it's pretty darn fast. It's one of the faster things I know of around here. It's very quick. Not perfect but quick and nice. I like it. Anyway just thought I'd show you guys some pictures of it. I know this isn't a VW site but comments are welcome.






Roll bar although not bolted in right now. As I said not perfect yet but he is working on it.

How low his exhaust is. I think he is getting this changed this week as it rubs the ground all the time at the slightest bump.



I didn't take a engine shot so he told me to use this one.


This car is seriously pretty impressive for a 4cylinder when riding it in. Pretty darn quick. One of if not the fastest feeling 4 cylinder I've been in. Hard to tell for 100% but feels like the fastest.

what are the engine specs?

 

my buddy had a 84 gti all stock. it was quick for a stock car, but man did that thing handle. i almost crapped myself around a few turns he took and held. awesome little cars!!! if i ever got away from my ef hatch, a gti would be a great dd.

So he didn't originally build it just bought it in the car from his buddies he grew up with. I know it's supposed to be fully built and really is pretty quick so I'd imagine it has some stuff done to it.

 

nice 16v, would look better with stock gti airdam or a duckbill, but nice none-the-less

 

Way cooler than the typical slammed VW.
