massive noob question how to put on center caps?

Default massive noob question how to put on center caps?

more specifically how do you put in centercaps for rota slipstreams and rota group-n

they are already mounted into the car do i just pop them in thru the front or do i hav eto take them off?

help someone should definitely be able to answer this easy



Size: 15x.6.5
Pattern: 4x100
Offset: +40mm
Hub Bore: 67.1mm

for both of them

do i have to buy a specific type of caps? i read on the cap faqs people say some caps dont fit

The caps that came with my Slipstreams simply pop on from the front.

Well, they would if I ever took them out of the packages and installed them. Fake carbon fiber center caps are sooo cheesy looking, especially on cheap knock off wheels. That, and track wheels need no center caps (which they are for me).

And different sized wheels of the same model can sometimes take different caps. It differs from manufacturer to manufacturer.

nice i dont have to take off my wheel, im asking because someone said i have to take off the whole wheel b4 i can put on a cap


so do the group-n let center caps enter from the front also? it would be a while till i can try them

both you can press on from the front of the wheels


some mitusbishis have centercaps on their stock wheels that are held in from the back by a metal ring, and other oem wheels (usu on trucks and suvs) have centercaps mounted on the inside or bolted on from the inside, but for the most part a large majority of wheels w/centercaps, esp non oem snap on from the outside
