i got a jdm b16a with the head port n polished, the valvetrain is done, but i was wondering if i can drop in some cams with my stock pistons, the bottom end is stock, n the mechanic said if i did i would bend my valves or mess something up cuz they would hit my pistons?? is this true? IF NOT WHAT STAGE CAMS CAN I SAFELY DRIVE IT WITH??!

 

get yourself some 98+ CTR/ITR cams

 

how much of a difference would that make from stock ones??

 

You can run larger cams if your valvetrain can handle them.

 

the lobes on ctr/itr cams are slightly bigger i believe, somebody correct me if im wrong
