i have a cold air intake for my 95 civic, and would like to know the best way to hook it up for the best results, i also have theone i see pepole put on the valve cover but i heard that is not a good thing to do from a few pepole, so i would be greatful for any advise, thanx

there's only one way to install the CAI

 

cai r good and bad. good cause your not sucking hot air from the engine like a sri would. the bad would be water getting sucked up if you dont have a bypass. as for the vc filter. its just a breather and doesnt matter imho

 

so what do i do about the old hoses cuz the intake only has one line and wich spot do i run the cai line to?

 

you would get two of those breathers one for the vc and one for the cai. then that factory hose will just hang there

 

the filter that goes on youre vc isn't really a good idea just because i've heard several people having oil leak from them, but a cai install is pretty basic....
