Some honda bond on my valve cover gasket looks like it flaked off into my head. I tried to pick up as much of this Sh*t as I could, but am worried some could get dislodged somewhere. I changed the oil filter with a fresh one, Would the oil filter be the 1st to pick this up? or should I be worried????

 

your oil filter should have caught it if it was small...i would pull your valvecover off and make sure its not stuck to something inside

 

Well I couldnt see anything large when I re checked last night, but Im worried while driving some of the hondabond will flake off. This stuff is pretty rubbery, so hopefully the only thing I would be worried about is it clogging an oil journal.

 

If it's a sizable piece, the oil pickup strainer will probably catch it.
