Default idle dip question Civic 01 Ex

I have a 2001 Civic Ex coupe, 130k. Whenever you are driving at normal speed say 55 and push the clutch in to pop to neutral, the idle dips down to about 550 rpm for about a half a second, then goes up to 1K ish. What is going on with this? Seems like it'll do it right after pushing the clutch in to neutral anytime when moving. Any suggestions on what this could be? Normal idle seems to be ok around 700. thanks.

clean out your idle air control valve. take it off and blast it with some throttle body cleaner.

ok, last night removed the IAC valve and motor assemby and cleaned out that 'vane' with and it spun much much smoother. checked for vacuum leaks and nothing although i haven't put a gauge on it. got it all back together and it ran WORSE! called advance autopart and its like $285 new. any ideas?

OK, here's an update. It did run a lot worse for about 50 miles or so, then cleared up and is fine. I think it was the coolant had to bleed itself and clear the system. As it is one of the highest points elevation wise for the coolant, this takes a little while. So, all i did was clean the IAC valve and that vane spun like a top when I was done cleaning it... all is good..
