Default Need Help with Ek9!!

Well I have a Ek9 and need to get new springs really bad. my car is really bouncy, i did the mistake of cutting them. Well i been looking around to find which will give a nice ride comfort and keeping my car slamed still. Should i buy coilovers or springs???

wow, i would have never cut ek9's springs. but looks like your in a bind. if you want to do a quick fix for know, the get some stock dc2 springs. they are nice and stiff, plus they feel better than the stock ek springs

Save up for coilovers, but for now since I'm almost positive your car rides like sh*t and bounces all over the place, get some EM1 springs or DC2 springs like previously mentioned, then save up for a good combo like GC/Koni for coilovers.

oh its the best, because if it feels too stiff, just pop your hood and adjust them to be more soft. i don't think the SS have that feature.

I'm suprised you own an ek9 and don't know anything at all about suspension AND you cut your springs at all, worse yet to the point where your car is "slammed," and even worse yet, on that car. If you want to slam your car you most likely want coilovers and don't put them on those shocks. Get new ones. Search and you will figure it out.

Well i used to own a 98 Type-R, and got wrecked. So i just bought EK couple of months ago. And in the DC2 i had Tokico Whites with Eibach springs. And when i bought the EK the guy told me that he'll drop it for me, and i thought he was going to but some cheap coilovers, so he cut the back springs and but 2 coilovers in the front. Big mistake in my part. So im just trying to get a new suspension but i want to try something new...something smooth, My plans were to buy Koni Yellows With Nuespeed Springs, but my friend told me get Tein Flex Type or SS Coilovers with the EDF. But dont know what to get. I want something that i wont regret buying.

Need suggestions people...!!!

its bouncy because it got stiffer.. the shorter ur springs the less it has to retract back and forth. if you do get new springs or suspension then dropping your car WILL make it more bouncy because your putting wieght on the springs and making it stiffer. if you dont want it to be too bouncy then dont drop your car too low.. unless u get the new skunk2 pro coilover ones.. they have the adjustment for that..

well you should get the ones that come as a complete. If your gonna go the spring route then pick a company that specializes in that field like tein or something. the whole skunk2 suspension comes with everything. springs, shocks, tower, coilovers etc.. I would say go with the complete suspension kit from skunk2. I think they are pro Cs.. or you can get something else as a complete.. like function/form 2

is it a REAL EK9 or youre just calling it one? That would suck if it IS and you DID cut the springs...let's just hope for ricer's sake, its not a real ek9
