You have to take the bumper off first. Basically you take out the signal lights, then there are three bolts holding the bumper support/bumper onto the car. Then thre are all the little clips and things to connect it to the fender/splash gurads. You can find the prelude service manal in the FAQ's. It will tell you exactley how to do it.

No the whole physical bumper comes off, clips as well. Its a total of 4 bolts I think and you have to undo the screws under the wheel well.

Id draw you up a diagram, but someone else might feel like it.

There are 2 screws on the inside of the engine bay that hold the bumper to the body, and 1 or 2 on each side inside the bumper that hold it onto the body

That is what your car looks like with no bumper

come on a simple search will get you the correct answer.

i just posted a reply to a similar topic, granted the topic was titled "jdm headlight installation" , but "headlight installation would get you the same results, come on....

anyway for the lazy
not everything in on honda-tech but come on between google and honda-tech searching so much information can be gained.

go to google.com type in "install headlight prelude jdm"

first thing to click is this: http://www.preludeonline.com/f...47403/

lack of effort

You keep mentioning clips. I hope you are not trying to seperate the glass from the housing? If you are, I hope you know what you are doing. Everyone I know that did that, ends up with leaks.

Eotherway. you have to remove the bumper to get the entire unit out in one peice before you mess with seprating the glass from the housing.

I think he's talking about the bumper clips. You shouldn't have to mess with those as long as you follow russlan's directions from my thread.

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by russlan44 &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">so the ones u probably looking for is theres one nut behind headlight in middle of high and low beam bulbs on each side, then theres also behind ur turning signal lights, 2 on each side, so take ur signal lights and get extended on size 12 and 12 for the ones behind headlight and 2 also by fender which u need an phips screw driver, the bumper will come off with reinforcment.
so total
2 phips screw attached to fender
2 bihind headlight size 12
4 behind turning signals
hope u understood</TD></TR></TABLE>
