205/55/16...will it fit on a 98 civic?

i got some 16 rota slips that currently have 205/40/16s on them and i found a really good deal on 205/55/16s. The car is riding on stock suspension but im planning on lowering it in the near future...can i fit them?

it will look dumb and you may still rub whether lowered or not.... get the right size tires... 205/45-16
