Im looking to replace the balljoints on my base knuckle and Im looking for the part on hondaautomotiveparts.com and I dont even see them listed unless you buy the whole assembly.

 

That's really wierd. Both the ball joints for the SH knuckle are listed. I'm sure the Base and SH use the same lca balljoint. Just call and check with Majestic before you order. Or you could try calling autozone and see if they have the same part numbers listed for the two.

pretty sure 4th and 5th gen base are same setup, honda will only sell them in the complete knuckle. i got into a fight with the guy at honda who said it wasn't a replacable piece without the knuckle, then i went to NAPA and got a ball joint. don't get ebay balljoints, one of mine snapped, they claimed in over 100,000 pairs of balljoints, never has one snapped, claimed they weren't selling the prelude ones until i got the broken one back for them to look at. still selling them... i crashed and [freak]ed my car up because of it and I got $25 from them. ********.
