Default what is that bar called that goes across the back window in eg hatches?

i feel stupid i thought they were tie bars but when i look it up i dont see the ones that show that
they look sick but what do they actually do and what are the connected to?
theyre midway in the back windows of eg's.

strut tower bars? The one that go where seat belt thing would normally go? Theres also the the miracle "x" bar its in the marketpalce.

well can u keep the seatbelts there with them? my friend had one and he had his seatbelts still in there. and what does it do and connecct to?

oh well i think it looks sick. even tho thats kinda stupid i like the look of it and i dont care what other people think. but how do i put it on if the bolts are under the panels? do i gotta cut the panels ???

yea your gonna have to cut the plastic a little...it will only be noticeable if you cut nasty...They do look cool but im not gonna lie you wont really feel a difference in the upper one...id say the ones that make a positive difference is the front and rear strut tower bars...Oh and also with the bar you can keep the seat belts..the bar bolts in the same place as those but they can just stay on with it

i saw a few pictures and a lot of people mess up on the holes. i want mine to be in a good spot without taking that panel off to do it cuz that looks like a pain and i always brake clips and hear it vibrate later on.

thanks for the help. what should i use to cut em??

a dremel i assume? very easy to work with, but take your time, and make sure you know where you want to cut b4 you do

yeah but how do i know where to cut???
i was gonna guess cuz ive seen one picture up close witha small hole then see wher eit is and make it bigger.
