Hope this doesnt violate any kind of advertising as I just trying to get some support for local Import Racing, not street racing, if it does please delete.
Starting on June 20 Macon National Dragway will be presenting Import Night. Gates will open @5 pm. Racing action will start at 5 and go till 10p. Spectator pricing will be $10 and to race it is $20. There will be some disussion in the future about having an organized race on Fridays just for imports. There will be a trophy for the fastest pass of the night. They have just spent $3.5 Million on improvements to the track and I can speak from experience that it is a top notch facility. Currently it is an 1/8 mile. what could you upgrade for 3.5 million dollars that you couldn't add that extra 1320 to stop. Sounds good, i don't know about the 5 pm thing though

 

The "old" track was pretty rough, especially the return road. There is some property across the road that the owner is trying to aquire to so the 1/4 mile setup. The parking lot is starting to look awesome. They are opening at 5pm just like some of the other local tracks. You Atl guys should come down to check it out. My car was the second one to go down the totally brand new surface and my 60' was a 1.45 which is only .05 from my best ever. It will be a great tuning track as the surface is great.
