i've got a couple scary moments and some AARRR passing that i'd love to post.....just have to figure out how to put footage from my MiniDV camcorder onto the internetz..

Here are some videos I put together from Expo. One is of Eleanor driving and one is of me driving. Both are taken from his car and yes I realize I made the intro's to both videos similiar.

The steering wheel is off center....for some reason the car can't ever hold an alignment.

A couple things I noticed from my driving. I'm braking too earlier on the back straight and I'm upshifting too early on 14a for 15. I only did it right a few times in footage I didn't post but I was mainly going into 4th to settle the car for the rest of the turn. I think I could be a little faster in 17 before 17a as well but this was only my second time at this track. I picked up a few things from Legoman for sure. Oh, and my heel/toe method is a little strange I know. I have a tendancy to keep hitting the throttle until I'm ready to downshift but at least it works. I never drop below 3rd in the video but is sounds like I do. lol I had an instructor once who raced Neons and I got the odd method from him and it stuck. Anyway, I know I'm not the best driver but I hope you guys like the footage.

I have some slight footage of Mr.Legoman passing me at the end and for some reason my captions are off from when he's passing me. lol

God, watching these videos I found myself saying out loud, "Holy **** I cannot wait to go back..."

Simply the most fun I've had in a VERY long time.

I hope you hosed that pass side seat off when you got home. Comp can get a lil greasy.

That Legoman is a pretty cool guy. Kinda wish I had the car 100% on Tuesday and could have taken you out. I also wish I had a half to downforce Eleanor has.

Yeah we are still trying to 'harness' this downforce and get the car to handle the way we want it to. I had Clayton drive the car and he gave me some pointers that i will be trying in the near future

The car was definitely twitchy in the esses which made us not want to hang our ***** out on it as lego showed us the car would be capable of - much props to you. We'll get there it's just going to take baby steps

 

I will post up as soon as I get a chance to load it.

But that Sander tuned black Integra really suprised me!! I caught up to him on the turns and he pointed me to pass him on the back straight and my 320awhp EVO 8 could not pass him!!!! haha Side by side and I could not pass him on the straight! That ish was fast! Def respect to Sanders Integra

Eleanor and that K powered DC, were fast as hell. Its funny to give them the point by and never lift..and watch them walk away

I thought i would of seen me getting passed in one of the video's.
