Well I am currently selling my s2000.
It was fun while I built it up, but I am having a child in 2 months and I need something to lug that rugrat around in.
I ended up purchasing a 2006 Trailblazer SS so I can still have a litte fun when the kid is not in the car.

 

I've seen these look amazing in black with black wheels. I do like th agressive look of the front, and who can pass up on an LS under the hood. Oh a grumbly exhaust is a must for v8 powa, and don't worry about the kid, my kido just turned 1 and she loves my exhaust, puts her right to sleep.

Did you go for Rear wheel power or power to all 4? auto, manual?


only pic I could find of the black on black, looks like just painted the stock wheels, perhaps your painted blue to match?

 

Its the RWD model. I was told they only come in auto.

I actually like the look and feel of the Trailblazer SS, but the interior and especially the dash just really killed it for me. I was this close to getting it at one point since they're not expensive, but the interior was the deal killer. Otherwise, fun to drive with the torque.

WOW, I just looked at some interior pics on ebaymotors. Horrendous, thats all i can say. Looks like typical GM early 00's dash. I too could not live with that everday.

i know its not the best looking interior but it performs as well as a charger rt, u can tow alot with it, and it gets better mpg then my rx8 id pick one up if it could handle like a car. plus the 06 are going for as cheap as 20k around IL with 20k miles on them how can you say no to that good choice

a few tenths slower in the 1/4 mile and a bit slower in the 0-60, but they are still quick

390 hp to 425 hp, i believe torque is around the same for both, not quite sure.

also the srt-8 has a 5spd auto, the ss is a 4 spd auto i believe
