Not well, if anything. It'll go well with boost and you'll probably manage to get a good 185whp out of a dseries with stock internals. So unless you're going to boost your EX motor, then I would save up for a motor swap to add boltons.

Well... let me put it to you this way...

Gen6 Honda CiViCs offered the most variety in any generation - past or present!

Daily drivers, grocery-getters, green cars, factory hot rods, yada, yada, yada...

IMHO, the EX was the Japanese Buick of the line!

So, if you want a fast Japanese Buick, go for it...

It'll respond to bolt-ons just as well as any other Gen6 CiViC, but you'll be hauling a lot of extra weight around with you 'cause of all the gingerbread - that's all!

Q) How much weight are 'we' talking about?

A) About the same weight as 2 average size refrigerators, or 2-3 average size chicks.

Think about it...

Normally I'd tell you to get lost and look in the honda-tech market place.

I got a '97 EX (black), moonroof, never hit, 140k on the chassis, 70k on the motor (OEM replacement) - mint cond & runs fine - where you located?
