Hey guys,so i bought a wrecked 2000 prelude sh and the right turn signal,parking lights, dash lights and tail lights won't turn off when i turn the car off,i have to disconnect the battery,it has a viper alarm and an amp kit hooked up, i have checked the fuses,connectors,bulbs and have been trying to remove the mitsuba fr-3501 flasher to check and see if thats the issue even though i don't understand why the tails, parking lights,and dash lights stay on,any help would be awesome,does anyone know how to remove the mitsuba flasher,i did depress the bottom tab with a screwdriver but no luck getting it out.seems like a ground issue but can't find ****.

Sounds like a definite wiring issue to me. Check the wiring and grounds.

 

I'd start looking at a common area for those lights....first thought would be under the carpet in the trunk where those lights are wired. or...

parking light could be a bad bulb somewhere?? But the dashlight will come on ALWAYS if the parking lights are on. And if your parking lights are on, then you have taillights on. So really a single problem can cause all of those but the turn signal, unless the turn signal is shorted to the parking lights and lighting the dash in a backwards kind-of-way.

Thanks for the feedback guys,ive checked and unhooked all after market audio and alarm,the wiring looks a little shady,all new wiring up front maybe?
