problem: wheel will twitch left and make a knoccking noise

problem: wheel will twitch left and make a knoccking noise
yyeah. whenever im slowing down on the free way, my wheel will twitch to the left and in the front left side you can here knocking. don't know what it could be, please someone help me out!!!!
