My TPS is being weird. I tried a drffernt TB with a TPS on it and it didnt help. I want to chek resistance on all of my wires. Where do all of the wires go? If they go to the ECU then what color and location are they in? WHat should the resistance be?

Hello, If I were you i would do a voltage test. Ground the - terminal to the battery, backprobe the red/black (99civic) wire (Signal), with the key on engine off, if your using a multimeter slowely by hand move the tps to full throttle. it should be a 0v-4.5v (WOT)range. repeat to find dead spots where while you move the tps the voltage you drop to 0v while at a spot in the voltage range.

the 3 wires are 1. red/black signal 0-4.5v
2. Grn/black ref voltage (5v)
3. yel/blu ground

have always heard to have it at .5v closed and 4.5 open.
