Default EK throttle cable bracket / direction

ok i have a b18c1 in my 97 ek and about to install the throttle cable bracket and also the correct cable....(gsr)

couple questions.

-which direction does the cable run (up from pedal connect to TB from timing belt side or loop around valve cover and connect to TB from dizzy side)

-since i do not have the stock TB will the stock teg gsr throttle cable bracket match up? its a thin piece of metal if i need to drill out a hole or two thats fine just curious.

thanks

I recently dropped a JDM B18C in my 96 and what I did was removed the GSR bracket (which was pointing the wrong direction for my set up) and used the one from my original motor, I may have even turned it around 180 deg. I can't really remember off the top of my head but I haven't had any problems. I did have to open the grove itself on the throttle body a little to accomidate for the slightly off centered line up but it worked fine I can take a pic of it later if you still need it. My whip's sitting in the garage today, it was suppose to rain so I brought the truk wrk .

ok what is your "set up" and basically your saying it doesnt matter if it comes from either direction...i know type r's pull from the opposite directions as other integras so that means they have a short cable.....the GSR cable is longer compared to b16s.

yes i still would like to see a pic

the reason why im doing all of this in the first place is...

a. the guy i bought it from has an LS cable attached..too long.
b. no bracket whatsoever so when i hit the slightest bump while accelerating, the cable wiggles and make the engine rev high then normal, high then normal. gotta put in the clutch to correct problem.
