as title says, just got done doing a h22a into a ek using the stock b16a harness (just modded) of the b16a and transfering everything inside the dizzy of the b16a into the h22 dizzy housing so it'll bolt onto the h22 head, now the car is giving me a no rpm signal code and runs like ***, wont even hold idle sometimes and hardly goes when gas is press. tryed different dizzy (b16a dizzy's just mounted onto the housing bolts of h22 head) tryed a p28, p13,p74,p75, ptp, etc etc. every ecu you can think of......same thing.

BUTTTTT: when hooked a hondata s300 with ANY ecu map it runs PERFECT..........without changing anything on the maps.....

so.... wth is wrong, what did i do wrong, ofcouse the b16a harness does not have a ckf sensor so the h22 ckf sensor is not hooked up. but I am using the stock b16a harness. wont that be as running a b16 engine? how does the car knows it's got a h22 in it if that's the case? should be good right?

 

its your harness and the ckf sensor with out it the dizzy reads off, with hondata your making a bass map so it reads of that. pretty sure its all in the harness all sensors should be plugged.

 

there is no harness that is not pluged??? the b16 jdm does not have a ckf sensor..... but the usdm h22 does. so what else can I do to fix this
