Hey guys,

So my problem is that my gsr turbo is idling very wierd. The first thing that it does is sometimes the car starts up for about 2 seconds then cuts off and doesn't start back for about 10 minutes. Then sometimes it starts up just fine. Another thing that it does is while im driving and I come to a stop the car shuts off and doesn't start back up until i let it sit for awhile.

So far i already changed my battery, distrubutor cap, spark plugs and wires, and i still have the same problem.

If anyone knows a answer for this problem i would greatly appreciate it. Thanks

 

is it tuned?

 

too many different things can make it do that.
1-answer if its tuned or not
2-have you checked your battery with a multimeter prior to and after starting
that will clear up if its the battery or alternator
3-are all of your grounds clean & properly connected
4-what kind of fuel system do you have.

 

i was having the same issue one of my friend fixed it never told what it was.

Could be multitudes of problems. Also sounds like more than one issue at work.

Start then stall then not restart could be main relay, excessively rich condition, shitty plugs, intermittent ignition issues, etc. Not restarting when warm can be cranking fuel compensation issues with bigger injectors at various temps.

You haven't stated whether or not it's tuned, whether it just started out of nowhere, whether it ever ran properly, what fuel/management setup the car has, didn't give any additional helpful info, etc. Too little information to do anything for you.

 

Yes the car is tuned with crome, and this problem did start happening out of nowhere. Before i started having this problem the car ran fine. Right now the car has a walbro 255 fuel pump and 550cc injectors. I was thinking it might be something with timing but i have no idea.
