Project "mew" front pads
from Japan
$80 CAD
pros: stop on a dime
cons: a week of driving turns my wheels flat black whether I like it or not.

I really like the Hawk HP Plus. Pretty good wear, excellent grip throughout heat range. Lots of break dust though. Around $60-75 depending on where you buy them.

I have been a big supporter of the Axxis Ultimate brake pad since its introduction to the North American market last year, and testing it on a wide variety of vehicles, both on the street, strip, and track.

My company, Cobalt Friction Technologies, carries the full line of Axxis Ultimate brake pads, at very competitive prices. Honda-Tech.com members will receive a 15% discount from list prices until the end of August. We have Honda/Acura fitments in stock for the most popular applications. You can view our stock status an fitment guide on our website at http://www.cobaltfriction.com .

All Honda-Tech.com members are welcome to send me an e-mail at andie@cobaltfriction.com, or call me toll-free at 877.562.9237, with any questions you may have about improving the braking performance of your Honda/Acura.

With Best Regards,

Andie Lin

I've been using Performance Friction Z pads from Autozone on my autocross Neon. $25 and a lifetime warranty Low dust, no noise, and really great stopping power. For cheap *** pads, these are great. Worth trying out for sure.
