how can i find out if a zc tranny has LSD?
i need a new transmission for my 91 crx si with zc swap. i have only tried the si tranny, but i might get the zc if it comes with lsd. i heard that only a certain amount of the zc transmissions had lsd. how can i tell if the tranny has lsd?

the thing with the zc tranny is, for it to be a lot better, you have to swap out the final drive for your Si final drive...also might as well put in a Si 5th gear too...

I heard that all you have to do is look through where the axles go into and if you can see straight through and theirs no bar inside their then is a lsd.

i'm pretty sure NO ZC trannies came with an LSD.

Yea, they add like 100 bucks extra if you want the LSD tranny package along with the engine and ecu. They sell the engine, ecu, and LSD tranny for 950+ shipping.

Yes its the only certain way. Stamp or not is no guarantee it still holds a LSD inside. Its real easy to see visually. Hole straight through=LSD round bar through center = normal (open/non/lsd)differential.

Yes its the only certain way. Stamp or not is no guarantee it still holds a LSD inside. Its real easy to see visually. Hole straight through=LSD round bar through center + mormal differential.
