Paint stripper FTL. You should have wet sanded with 1000 to 1500 grit. That light is pretty much [freak]ed man. Sorry , sometimes u gotta learn the hard way.
some shops have a 3m refinishing kit, they will charge you about $60 to to it, but is probably your only chance to bring that light back.
FYI you wanna make sure you use paint thinner specified for acrylics/plastic surfaces. I've cleaned spay paint off turns signals this way, but they still require a bit of polish afterwards.

yea i used paint stripper on the passenger side and it took the overspray line off but for some reason it left crud on my driver side im in the process of using sand paper and it worked but not to normal so hopefully i can find a prelude part out but its fine

Get some 1000 grit and go to town. After the "crud" is gone...bust out some plastic polish and buff like hell. It will take awhile.
Looks like oxidation to me....What I do in this situation is wet sand with 800-1000 grit sand paper, then I spray a new clear coat on them. They come out looking damn near new

Just respray them with clearcoat and wetsand again they will come out looking new as stated before. At least try that before you go spending a ton of money on a new light. OR you could give me the light and buy a new one lol
