battery help needed

battery help needed

so i need a new battery for my hyosung 250, the model on the battery is stx14-bs. i look online and there is no batteries that i can see with that number, google throws me towards YTX14-BS and this one shop down here that i called says that they carry a RTX14-BS? what is up with the different letters on the battery? do they really matter? the RTX14-bs is being sold for 85, apparently i can purchase a STX14-BS from hyosung online for 74 or i can probably get a YTX14-BS from ebay for 50. any suggestions? any help or info thrown at me would be welcome. thanks

i think it is a 04-05? i didn't buy it, it belongs to my friend, i just got to maintain it

measure the battery, and do a search for bikes with compairable setups. IE check out the kawi 250 battery, I would assume it'd be near the same. good luck!
