door hinges noises
WD-40 will evaporate rather quickly, and grease will not penetrate as well as needed.
However there are spray can type greases that come out as a watery consistency, to help penetrate small areas then the grease gels to maintain lubrication.
That type of spray grease would do well on door hinges.

yeah, i've heard it called 'Viscotine' but like Mr Yamada said starts thin, gets thick. WD-40 is a good temp fix. it'll stop any noise but you'll have to re-apply on a regular basis.
i've tried dry graphite lube, when it works it works well.. but it's hit or miss.
