Would like some opinions on an article I came across
Didn't know if anybody had read this but I think its interesting, especially when he starts talking about what engine to pick and didn't know if his theory is correct or not. Thanks.

I'm not sure that I agree with him that you don't want the larger motors due to having torque.
I'm sorry, but I don't care what you have, if you've got 400whp, you're going to spin the tires, b16, b18, ls1, whatever.
he recommends rods that are heavier than eagles. That sucks. Don't like heavy rods.
Large turbo? Depends on your goals. Don't want a lag monster. A 500whp turbo with good spoolup is going to eat a 500whp ginormous turbo that spools at 6000rpm.
550cc injectors? Okay, that limits horsepower.

Thats what I was thinking, but then I read this article and he got me thinking that what he was saying about the B16 making less TQ would be to my advantage and would allow for more power to the ground. I really don't know, I am just simply speculating because the fastest car I have ever had was a 233WHP D16 so all my questions will be answered in time when I boost whichever B series I ended up choosing. Oh well, just seeing some opinions on the article

thats a good point, but it doesn't fit into everybodies budget, i read that article at least 2 years ago so its older than that for sure, i have bbg and rpm and it takes a good bit of time to set up right on the dyno, if your paying by the hour it get costly... this article may have been written a little further back though cause the guys at IB know there is fo sho!

I thought this article was a load of bullshit when I read it over a year ago. Oddly enough, my opinion still hasn't changed, lol.
