The OG SF setup before boosting d17's was cool...

Yes, that big box to the left is an intercooler. It was a pretty sweet little setup. It actually used water cooling around the core. I had a nifty water tank that held like 1.5 gallons of water and a channel neck that came up behind the battery where I could fill it with cold water/ice and a drain plug at the bottom for it.

I sold that off to gotti on the OLD 7th gen and upgraded.

Then I went to the AEM EMS because the emanage blue is **** and I had limitless problems with it.

Put down almost 250 whp on a stock non vtec with about 13.5 psi of boost and was running mid 13's.

Then I threw this sucker on.

I blew up the non vtec and decided to put together a built motor and installed a nice new JDM fabtech intake manifold.

Even with all of that bottom end work, I still couldn't get over 260 whp, even at 18 psi! So I installed the stage III crower cam with springs and retainers and at the same 18 psi of boost....

We cranked it to 21 psi with an open downpipe and....

25 psi on c16 with a gt30

Lol, so funny you say that. I quoted this from 7thgenhonda in regards to my new dyno sheet...
<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by civic-driver;150120 &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">well new setup looks good andyman. cant wait to see the new tune with the new diaphragm and spring. it made me think for a second about the highest output D17, which i think is you now. I remembered Supermex's setup was 434 whp at 21 psi and i was like how does that work with him have a smaller turbo. i believe his is a Precision t3 t4 .69 trim .48 exhaust which is smaller right? then i realized his highest was with an alcohol injection and 75 shot of nitrous and it made me laugh because of how much your setup is putting his to shame. so awesome job and [freak]ing a</TD></TR></TABLE>
This post had me crying, seriously.

Andyman97 is a true OG, when it comes to turbocharging the D17. I remember you from way back, on 2k1civic.com. Car looks beautiful, and great job on sticking with it.

sweet, keep em coming. Can I see pictures of your interior? Been seeing a lot of exteriors of people's car on the forum and it gets old since everyone's car looks the same. I'm more of an interior or engine bay person.

It was the "viper" fiberglass. It kept getting scraped and torn up and I got tired of repairing and repainting it, so I went back to OEM.

Also, thinking of getting the TC Sportline F1 dry carbon mirrors. Thoughts?

Here are some pics of the interior:

I always enjoy checking out your car, nice pictures.

I like the interior, it's clean and whatnot. Nothing excessive.

def a nice turbo d setup!
seeing things like this just makes it harder to decide on a k swap or boost the good ol d series. i've had a intake manifold and tb sitting around for a long time since i've been debating this.

Love the h20 intercooler, extremely efficient for its size.

How's the reliability of the setup? This ultimately is my debate between a FI D17 and an NA K-series.

reliability comes down to the tune. i dont want to sound like a broken record, but it's true. a solid tune or a lack of one will make or break a setup.

Yeah, it was a good time. I was debating about going to elmont, ny, but I don't think so. I've got a grip of **** in the works right now, you won't recognize the car when it's done.
