Default '97 Type R for $15500?

Is this normal? I was under the impression that Rs were more like 27K. I found this one in Auto Trader, and its got some mods done to it. IS thi a normal price for these cars?

27K is WAY too much for even a new R. 15,5 sounds good to me for a 97. Just have it checked out. It seems a little under priced but not much.

You got a link?
I didn't see the one you're talking about.
The only one I see is $16,400 and has 70,000 miles on it.
