need assistance with evap removal!!!!
i want to know if there is anyone in here with the knowledge to safely remove the charcoal canister and block or bypass the evap system i need more room in the engine bay and its in the way. i have seen some cars out there with out it and want to do the same so please help

It's surprisingly easy. Unplug the electrical connections on the charcoal canister and the evap purge solenoid. Remove vacuum line from intake manifold and cap it. The canister slides into a bracket on the firewall. You can lift it out, but I just unbolted it. Remove both canisters and all the hose. Unbolt and remove the solenoid. After everything's been removed, a 5/8" hose fits perfectly from the connection underneath the battery, to the firewall, which allows it to vent underneath your car. Whatever you do, don't plug it! I started off using a check valve, but ended up removing it and using an inline -10 fuel filter and Aeroquip socketless hose to prevent debris from getting in there. Some people just run a hose under the car without a filter, though.
