Just installed Tein hood dampers.
They are creaky and its hard to close the hood, Do they just have to break in, or do i have to grease them or something like that?

i have tiens and i just installed them and it doesnt creak or anything. works perfect.

It does come with grease and such didnt yours?

 

I would imagine a little bit of breaking in but I guess not...

 

Yup I used the grease....
Just when its opening has a kind of creaking noise...
Mines are on a 350z and the hood is really light since its aluminmum, but thats what they come with sstock...i dunno why its creaking like that.
