Whats up guys? I need a little help. I have a 96 civic ex with a d16z6 motor 5spd. Recently if my a/c is on and I put my car in neutral my rpms drop and my car stalls out. If I shift in neutral with the a/c off its cool. So far I checked plugs,dist. cap + rotor, took apart and cleaned throttle body and iac valve. I took it to my mechanic who said the iac is functional and claims I need a new throttle body or iac motor??? Any thoughts???

 

timing maybe off, or just advance your timing...

Some of the suggestions: Take your belt off and hand turn the pulley for the A/C compressor. Make sure it's not sticky anywhere.

Check the pressure of the A/C system
