ok guys well it seems that i got screwed again but thats too long of a story to get into. The CTR headlights that i got came with a cracked lense and it looks like im stuck with them. What im wanting to do is remove the lense from my ctr headlights and replace it with a lense i got from a mint 00 si headlight that i have laying around. I saw a write-up a couple of months where someone did this exact same thing i am wanting to do but can not seem to find the thread. I have also heard that the best way of removing them is to pre-heat your oven at 300 degrees and when it is ready stick the headlight in there for about 5 min and glue sealing the headlight should melt making it easy to remove the lense.
I guess my question is can someone please help me explaining step by step on how to do this or give me some link to a previous write-up. Also what is the best thing to use to re-seal the headlight once the new lense is in place. Thanks in advance guys.....

i would asume it would be the same procedure as painting the housing black for the DIY type r headlights.
so to open then up, it would be to pop them in the oven on a baking sheet at 325 for 2mins.
the oven has to be pre-heated, while the baking sheet must be room temperature, so you dont melt the headlight.
and when you take it out, just pry it apart with a screw driver or something, but dont force it.. and put them back in to cook some more if need be.
i did this to my 96-98 headlights and it was really quite simple. to close them back up, just put them back in the oven to heat up the adheasive and snap them back together, you can put more sealent also, i didnt and havent had any problems.. but the majority of the people i would say do it.
but... im not positve if the jdm lense is the same size, shape as the usdm ones.
