Default Bigger calipers/ crappy braking

I had to switch over to bigger spindles to fit the integra axles on my 91 dx with a b16a swap. So i went with 91 integra knuckles, hubs, calipers, and rotors. I bleed them they stop as crappy as hell. I push as hard as i can on the peddle but it barely has any stopping power. I heard that I had to get a porportion vavle off a prelude, but I thought you only had to do that when you convert the rear to discs. My question is do i need to get a porportion valve and what do you think the problem is?

Maybe you didn't bleed them correctly?

Also, I would suggest a Bigger MC and BB to make full use of the bigger brakes.

either theres a leak somewhere, maybe internal (MC, calipers, brake lines, whatever) or you didnt bleed the brakes very well.

and yeah, bigger MC reduces travel and produces more hyraulic power, but it doesnt cure poorly maintained and bled brakes.

i wouldnt put used brake parts on my car without fully rebuilding them anyway.
