Default .040 B series headgaskets other then Cometic?

Well seems the more i look into it the more people arnt fans and have had the same issues pushing coolant as i have with their gaskets, read a particular interesting post on a Evo forum where they used pressure sensitive film on popular gaskets with one coming up very short, or should i say thin on sealing areas.

Appreciate what options u may know of?

Thanks.

Honda headgaskets are fine up to 82 mm or 40 thou over for a B18 or B16.

That is referring to thickness and ill check out sce thanks Enoc

I was considering a Phyzion gasket at an installed height of .051 but thats an expensive gasket to go doing it again.

Thanks for your input all.

Shameless plug for SCE goes here <--

The 84mm will be fine on your 85mm, however they will make you any gasket you want.

I'll get a hold of sce and see what the actual bore size is on that 84 gasket if not how much for them to 85 one.

Wish i never had an issue with cometic either, but surfaces, studs, and torque are all sweet and seems others when simply changing gaskets, have had there troubles disappear.
