Default 1985 Honda Civic DX carb'd to efi?

I know it is possible to swap a b-series into 84-87 civics, well I bought one for $100 and it has the 1.5 carborated, and it runs drives, has cold a/c and warm heat. I am wanting to put a LS-VTEC engine in it. How extensive is the work as far as wiring, and swapping the fuel system. I want to do it right and not cut any corners so I'm gonna shell out the $600 for the mounts from hasport, but where can I find more info about how to build a good reliable ls-vtec motor?
here is a pic of the car
