i have a 95 gsr i changed the intake manifold and now the car is revin out at 7200 rpms. it also isnt hitting any vtec. then other times it will run like a gsr and go up to 8200 rpms but only hits vtec till 6500 rpms. any ideas???? ive rewired the vtec ive taken the seloniod off and cleaned it still hasnt made a difference.

 

What kind of intake manifold did you put on?
How did you rewire vtec?
Do you know the difference between your secondary runners opening and vtec?
Are you still running the stock ecu? any CEL's?

 

i put on a skunk 2 intake manifold on it. well its a gsr swap it was a ls 2 start out with so i ran all the wires in2 the ecu with the clips. its still a stock p72 ecu
